Hey guys, I just bought a 2000 A4 2.8 quattro and I just did the brakes on it, ( brembo rotors and Hawk HP pads ). After the job, the brakes worked wonderfully, but every once in a while, the Brake warning light and sound comes on. It wouldn't bother me so much, but the beep is really loud and annoying. I was thinking that i might just have to ground out some ports on a diagnostic port or something like that? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks guys! -Tom

 

Do you mean the light that says "Brake"??

If that is the case you prolly have low brake fluid

 

yeah, it also has a loud beep when you start the car.
