i have a 2001 a4 quartto and yea i have alot of stupid things going on with this car so much so i thought about trading it in and getting a different on but i got want i got for now so on to the issue i just replaced my brake pad all the way around with ebc's stuff and everthing went well till about a week after i was driving to work i hit a small pot hole and proof the stuip brake wear senor came on and will not shut off i took the wheel off and looked at both front brake and everything was fine i also unplugged the sensor wire and gave it a shot of electricl contact cleaner and the light was still on i don't have a vag com but i do plan to get on soon. i have even tried to cut the old sensor wirs off my old pad connect the wires together and plug it in still no luck. I love this car but it makes me want to pull out my hair at time so if you can save me so hair please help!!!!!!!![:@]

 

You could always solder the wires together and forget the sensor in the pads.
