Brakes
maybe on a stock rotor but get some brembo rotors on ebay for 120 and ceramics kick ace. True, i do not like the distance my foot must travel but no one should be driving to the point where its noticable on city streets. Drive a VW bug around for 5 years and you wont complain about spongy brakes on any car
+1 for waxing the wheels. Zoop seal is what I used to seal in the finish on the polishing I did on a different engine. It's EXTREMELY expensive (I think Eastwood Company is getting over $100 for a fairly small container of it) bt it maintained the polishing shine on my aluminum pieces very well. That was bare, polished aluminum. I am not sure how it is for painted wheels.
Yep that's the best way to deal with it - the Axxis Metal Master pads I ran in the past were great - more initial bite, longer life, and about 10% of the dust of the OEM pads. Hawk pads will be the same way - much less dust than OEMs.
some of us like to keep our cars clean. to us, it shows our respect and passion for wut we have. it's also attract to some chicks that u ur car is kept in high condition. plus, brake dust will eat away at ur wheels. unless ur not gonna keep ur car for long, i would recommend keeping ur car clean.
