Default brakes

ok so last night i was driving on the highway (around 80) and i was approaching a light rightturn and then someone decided it would be nice if they came into my lane and completely cut me off, forcing me to slam on the brakes. as i was braking the tail began the slide out but i caught it... right after the incidentevery time i hit the brakes (even very lightly) it makes a tapping noise that transfers onto the pedal. i rolled the window down to listen in and u can hear it towards theback leftbrake... this has never happened to me in any of the cars i have driven... what could it possibly be? thanks guys

sounds like the caliper didnt retract back far enough. You could check to see if the pad is still making contact with the rotor and also check brake fluid levels.

I think the caliper is sticking some. Like he said, check your brake fluid and then start looking at the parts itself, caliper, pads and rotor to see what is going on.

Happened to me once on my last car. Turns out the the rotor somehow warped. I don't understand it myslef but after putting in a new rotor at the cost of 150 bucks, everything was a-o-k.

Look at it this way. Every time something breaks you can upgrade it, thus making the car someway better.
