Default Brakes b6

Ok, i have 2003 a4 1.8t. My rotors has to be changed soon. So i'm thinking about an upgrade. I've read that stock calipers from 3.0 would make 1.8t brakes better. So what i want is: new rotors (front) and maybe (rear) drilled ones, new calipers with good pads. Any suggestions, what should i go with?

stock calipers are the same for the 3.0 and 1.8t
its just the rotorsand carriersare larger
if u want to upgrade the brakes and low on funds go wit S4 brakes
the stock B6/B7 calipers and carriers are a direct fit
if u wanna go cheaper u can get the b5 S4 the calipers and carriers are a direct bolt on also

Hmm, never knew that. Thanks for the heads up panda. Is the braking difference worth the extra $$?

read carefully, i said both the b5 and b6 can fit on our cars
the b6/b7s are more expenisive then the b5 s4s
the funny thing is b5 S4s brakes cant fit on B5 a4 brakes

i just got porsche brakes, from the 993 porsche.... Ceramic brake pads w/ cross and slotted rotors... they are awsome and definatly worth the buy...the car drives soooooooooooo much better now that they are installed and responds soo much better when you are entering and exiting the turns. Ohh the late braking and wow do they stop good
