BS BS and more BS
guys ur all missing the point...lol. I have researched this for quite a long time. I KNOW it doesnt work well.. but if you have the right ohm speakers... all should be fine.. Its the BOSE system, not the standard audi system. I even talked to Bose, and they said using different speakers are fine, as long as you use 2ohms, or an amp for them. The wire is 8 gauge for the amp will only fit 8 guage and up without having adapters set on it. I am fine with that much power, and I was really just looking for a way to replace my crapped out rear deck speakers. I am finally getting them installed this friday so I guess Ill reply on here when that happens... I just wanted to let you guys know never to get stuff installed at BestBuy... O and at Circuit City, they let you use your own car amp kit, but they charge you a 20 buck fee... which is muuucchhhh better than buying a totally new 1.

dude if you pay 150 dollars for an install kit...you must have more money than you know what to do with.....a good 4 gauge kit shouldnt run you more than about 60-70 dollars...and that includes everything....including the plastics to cover up the wire. I have never had any probs with distortion when installing car audio because of the wire.....maybe you've just had bad luck with the ones you bought.....sorry to come off like that but that just seems like a lot of money.

You learned the hard way as many of us. Next what will happen is your front valance will fall off [&:] . Oil change dudes never properly reinstall the hardware on the front valance if they install it at all. Don't believe me? If you have a 1.8 check underneath the front of your car. There are 9 screws/bolts that hold this piece on. Everything there?
