We're trying to figure what bulbs go in the rear-turn signals. Right now it's the stock "amber-bulbs"..but he wants to upgrade to "red-bulbs". We went to like five diff places..and found "red-LEDs"..only problem..is that the little metal "bumps" (what holds the light in) on-the-side..didn't match up right..so it just popped out. So..here's the question..where can we find RED-colored bulbs???

yea a light coat of red is fine.

Or you can use a red glass stain.

Or a that transparent brush on crap from the craft stores

 

what year is his car? mine (98) has a housing that appears red when not lit but lights up amber, no matter what color bulb i put in.

oooooh and btw. 1157s work, almost everyone should carry these. the problem w/ LED bulbs is that they draw so little ammount of wattage that ur car wont recognize that there is a bulb there so it will either read that you have a burned out bulb or if on the blinker it will go in turbo mode and flash really fast.
