i have a 97 a4 1.8t and their is a little button on the driver side piller inbetween the front and rear doors down low about seat hight.......

does anyone know what this does???? yes it is factory NOT aftermarket????

 

it's the interior sensor on/off button for the alarm - so it doesn't go off when you arm the car and your windows or sunroof is open...
