LOL! No I did Not rob a bank! I just love cars! In fact I love audi's!!! I went from a sunfire to an Audi! Sunfire cost was 8G's when I got it! Audi I got a few months ago I went with tip because I will pass it onto my future wife, and get an rs4! This a4 ran me at 35G's canadian which is not what you guys would pay just for a 3 year old a4 in the US they run 10-15g's cheaper, here they hold their value pretty wellbut here they cost a lot more! so for an rs4 it runs over a 100g's I might try and import one from the states and save some money I can get it down there for like 70 which is cheap considering the prices! if you guys want to seewhat the cars run here at go to trader.ca and look up your audi and try checking my province of alberta! Which is on the west side of canada

dude thats insane but completely true...cars in germany are inane...130k euro for a gl430 merc... thats just not normal...still dont understand why its like that....

for the b6, i would say keep it stock for now cause the wife (unless she is a good driver) will probably crash it cause it will be very fast...idk if the auto trans will be good though; u might want to check that out before doin anything serious...good luck and keep us posted, rs4 is by far my fav i am considering selling a kidney for one lol. mtm came out with a supercharger kit for it so save ur money for that) with it the rs4 pushes 580hp. now thats some serious power...enjoy it...

So I guess the best thing now would probably be APR stage 1+ and thats about it! As for the RS4 I would keep it stock because a few years down the road I am going to end up buying my friends gallardo! Possibly still undetermined and undecided I was in Germany this summer and my cousin has a GT3 Porsche and I dont know what the hell he did put in twin turbo and a bunch of other stuff that I really wasnt interested in until I got home now I am curious what kind of set up he is running I am going to have to talk to him! So far with that car it was proboably the fastest I have been on the autobhan doing 334km/h and that was scarrrrry! He was taking corners and off ramps at 200km/h!! Great driver, and mad speed LOL!!! The way the car tax works there is the heavier your car is you pay more in monthly tax, for example a hummer h2 to drive there, in tax you pay about $1300/month and all that money goes towards fixing roads!! So not very many people can afford heavy vehicles!!! I will keep you guys updated!

So all you guys are saying KO4s on a B6 are pointless. What about on a B5? I am looking into swapping up for a KO4 when my KO3 goes. As much as I would like a bigger one, I just don't have the money for a much bigger set up. Plus my wife would not let me spend 2K+ on something like that, especially with my car almost at 100K.

On the B6 there is not much difference between a K04 and a K03 at 'stage 1+'. If you have a B6, i'd say stage 1+, the horsepower and torque difference won't be as much. May save some pennies in the long run too. If youre looking for more, a detuned GTRS Elim wont be bad either, but you wont get the same response and spool up time, just more high end power. (the boost from a K03 and a GTRS Elim feels different, but you must weigh the pros and cons) If it's going to be a DD, i'd stick with stage 1+, just because of the spool time and reliability of the KO3. GTRS, expect boost by/ after 3k rpm unless youre willing to put on a larger heat wrapped downpipe, wrapped with thermal wrap, and have a jet coated exhaust manifold, which will decrease the spool time by 2-500 rpm. but by that time the K03 is hitting the requested boost. With stage 1+ youll need just larger injectors, plus ecu reflash. Exhaust is optional, but id go with it to take advantage of the spool time, so you have limited back pressure. The stock airbox on the B6 is already the best you can have unless youre going for 300-350+ bhp IMO. (aftermarket like Carbonio just changes the sound of the air being sucked in and lets the bypassed PSSHHHT a little more audible) Exhaust on the B6 works for a K03 stage 1+ but you may want wider pipes, i use APR and love it(again back pressure and spool times). the stock intercooler should be enough, you should only lose about 1 to 2 PSI, generally with a small turbo you want a small intercooler pipes to maintain the requested boost. If you have any questions feel free to PM me
Good luck
