Buying a 2001 A4
Hey Guys,
new to the site, I am buying a 2001 A4, pick it up Monday....
I wanted to know if I should get the 2yr/24k mile warranty?
The car has 84,xxx miles, the dealership i am buying it from is replacing the timing belt, water pump and a vacuum hose...
Should I spring the extra 45 bucks a month and get the warranty?
Thanks for the help

How much will the warranty end up costing in the end? It's good that their taking care of the big stuff so hopefully you shouldn't have many problems. There are still a few common things that can happen that might make the warranty worthwhile.

depends on what the warranty covers. if its everything, i would definitely get it. if its just a powertrain warranty, then i wouldn't

your mainly going to deal with things like the power steering rack, control arms, and wheel bearings, and a few vacuum leaks. if its not the full deal i wouldn't worry to much about it.
