Default Buying an A4 Turbo Quattro...

Hi everybody

I'm looking at buying a 2001 B6 1.8t Quattro with 104,000kms on the clock. Are there any particular things I should look out for? The owner tells me the air con needs re-gassing but i'm sure the problem is more than just the gas. Could this be an expensive procedure if the compressor needs repair or replacment?

Thanks for your help

Chris.

have it leak tested...yes it will be expensive, as a matter of fact, anything you do to your car will probably be expensive (perks of owning a german car) as you will find out

ready the stickies too!

Like everyone else said have it leak tested take it to a GOOD Audi Mechanic and have them look over Everything. That will probably be 1-200 Dollars for them to look at it, or at least around here.

Btw: the 2001 is a b5.
