If it's the same one that's in the new Car and Driver magazine (I'm assuming you only saw it on TV) it is in fact an A4.
I really don't like how C&D did that comparison. They seperated it by drivetrain types but still, they had a $70,000 gap between the least and most expensive car in the RWD/AWD section. The A4 was $30-40,000 less then most of the cars that beat it. Couldn't they have gotten an S4 or RS4 modded to about the same price as the EVO's and STi's? At least the A4 had a 5 star street driveability rating and the only other car that did was the Miata...and come on, which would you rather drive?

it just bothers me, I dont expect C&D to do a fair compairison, its not in there nature but there are people on here that have had there stock cars to 130 and no where near out of gears.
my car would run out of gearing around 140.....even with the gt28r and other mods. Our gear ratios are just so close.....you could just go get a 2.8 tranny.....I have heard it bolts right up to our motor (quattro version).
