Default C---->F

i got one or 2 questions. First off: i just got a 96 A4 and the degree settings are all in Celsius. Is there any way to change to Fahrenheit? I checked the manual but it doesnt say anything. also, my brake and ABS light came on a couple weeks ago. so i changed my pads and rotors cuz they needed it bad, but the lights are still on. I'm assuming that i need to take it to the dealer or get a code reader to clear the lights but i'm not sure. and my friend was saying that the ABS light shouldnt have come on and that there is something else wrong with my ABS. But he drives a Chevy so he might be off his rocker. any insights? and last question. I have seen the VAG COM mentioned in the forums. Is it the best code reader to get? can i change the way my car performs with it? is there anything better? Thanks guys.

There is nothing better than the VAGCOM, no you cant change anything performance wise but you can change your temp prob as well as program many other cool things and read your CEL's and its a diagnostic scan tool.. Its worth the money man

or just take the c, multiply by 9/5 and add 32 everytime you want to know the temp in F....

If brake dust gets on a wheel sensor the ABS light will come on. You could remove each wheel and lightly hit the brake calipers to clean them. Check the Technical Forum for the VAG-COM thread.

the ABS with the brake light coming on is a common problem....your abs system might be bad and if you want your abs, you might have to get your module rebuilt

Press the recirculation button and the temp up arrow at the same time to change to F.
