got it thanks for all of the advice... if the muff shop wants $185 or more I may just get one shipped from Labree. Or I may hoold off on the DP for now, get the catback installed and do the TP.

does the DP add a lot as far as performance gains or is all of that seen with the TP and high flow muffs?

You're better off running 2.5" pipe. As the exhaust gas moves through the exhaust, it cools down which means the volume also decreases. Overall, there will be less of a bottleneck, if any, if you just run 2.5" pipe right to the muffler.

I checked the muffs and found that they have 2.5" exhaust. so it looks like i'm good in that sense. Does anyone know the benefit to buying stainless rather than aluminized? rust? price? weight?

The main thing is it wont rust and a significant weight difference. The stock resonator alone probably weighs close to 50 lbs. Your entire aftermarket exhaust will probably weigh that much.

so stainless steel in lighter than aluminized or the other way around?
