Calling all techs!

Calling all techs!
I changed my tranny fluid last weekend and all went pretty well. I was
backin my car up (with the windows down) and I can hear what sounds
like a hissing noise coming from the front of the car. Sounds like a hydrolic hiss.
So being worried as usual I decided to bring it to the Audi dealer to check
the fluid level and leaks. All checked out with them, but they also heard the
noise and said it could either be the hydrolic pump in the tranny or it could be
the type of fluid I used (Pentosin ATF-1). They recomended I do a flush with
they're little machine, but I said no because I heard to many horror stories
about stuff getting dislodged. So, the question is, should I be worried about it,
and, should I just replace the pump to see what happens. I know that replacing
the pump probably isn't cheap (or is it?) but I just want to know what I should
do about this. I don't think a hissing noise is normal. Unless another 2.8 owner
hears it.

RE: Calling all techs!
Pentosin ATF-1 is equivilent to Audi ATF in every way unlike other ATF fluids that are so called "equivilent." Its what I used when I did mine, and I have no problems. If you didnt follow this procedure exactly then there could be something wrong.

So, if you didnt have a helper running through the gears for you while youre filling from underneath at the same time, you probably did it wrong.
No such thing as a fluid that retains its lubricating properties forever.
