you can pretty much put a turbo on any motor with enough money and know how..

has it been done, yes. done successfully, not really..

conclusion, you are MUCH better off buying a B5 S4 and modding that. you'll save a LOT of money..

and skip the supercharger for the 2.8.. your spending $5,000+ just to get up to less than chipped S4 power

edit: but yeah, unless you love your 2.8 or are trying to do something unique then its not reaaaalllyyy worth it. but im my opinion it is (s/c) that is.

Theres not really room for twins and even less room for a large single. This is why the VR6's are so loved. Their not as wide as a V6 or long as a inline 6, not to mention still have one head and all the intake/exhaust ports all in a row.

not room for twins. stick to the 1.8t cincy..

fact is that you can fit a 3.0 block in there with twin GT2871r's if you want. it has been done before and made supposedly 1000Awhp. but it also cost more than $30,000. and people have put some pretty large single turbo's in there

and point i have about the s/c'er is, you spend 5 grand on a car that doesn't have much more potential past that. and you're not going to get anything out of that if you sell the car as a whole. with an S4, it keeps it's value better and has such a greater potential for amazing big power than the A4 does

Wow, you have become an *** lately.[sm=smiley21.gif] But anyways, i never said you couldnt jackass, i said there wasnt much room for them. In every car shown.... including the TT, everything is pretty much was dumped to make space for the turbos and everything thats needed to go with them. Good luck trying to get away with that and make it street legal.

honestly if you want to do it IMO you need to do your own work, have good connections for parts, and some cash to back you up. OR a sponsor. http://www.passatworld.com/forums/sh...2&page=2&pp=30 this passat is a little more practical example. it's not to bad as all S4 parts are basically bolt on. What you really need to think about it that you could only do 7 PSi on stock internals. We (2.8 30v) have REALLY high compression 13-1. For the amount of money it would cost then to do everything that you want--You could get a VR6 and it would be easier and put out more power. This is something I have thought alot about. But, these are just my opinions, anything is possible. Good luck. Nice pictures sean.

the stock 2.830v motor has a 10.3:1 compression ratio

if your asking if it can be done, your most likely not gona be able to do it, unless you have really deep pockets, which also seems unlikely since you own a b5 a4
