Default Can I add different transmission oil in my tranny?

My transmission fluid is a little bit low, so Ibought a bottle of 75w90 from an euromotor website which claims it is the right one for my A4. I don't know what these digits means and what digitsis runningin my transmission. Can somebody here kindly educate me on this? Thanks a lot!

Yes and no. You can but it is not always good to change oil to a different brand / type than what came with it originally. I would try to get the oil at your Audi Dealership! That would be your best bet.

Iwouldnt put anything other than oem stuff in aZF tranny. Anyother car/tranny, **** it.

Youll pay double at the dealer, no exageration.

If you have a manual trans I ran GM Synchromesh fluid in it instead of 75w90 - shifted better I think and didn't cause any problems.
