Default Transmission HELP! How do you tell FUL or FBD type tranny?
I have a 2002 A6. How can I tell what tranny I have? What is the difference? Is it the TCU or TCM or something else? Thanks.... Once again I have a 2002 Audi A6 Quattro w/ a 4.2 liter V8...

The transmission info is on a plate at the front driver's side of the bell housing. Mine is green, perhaps yours is, too. It is either a FUL OR FBD code for this car.
