Can i disable the safety belt warning sound?
Hey everyone! I am thrilled to find this site.
Two questions:
1) Is there ANY way to disable the safety belt warning sound, including snipping wires, taking out fuses, etc?
2) Are there any online sites that are great in detailed instructions on HOW to take off my bumper and other fairly easy work I can do at home? If no is that hard?
Keep it real. Audi is the total package.

i think you can disable the alarm with a vagcom..... and the bumper is cake man, two bolts in the front that are behind the little grills and plastic clip things on the side... i believe if you look at apr's site they have a detailed description of how to take it off in their instructions on how to replace the snub mount
what is a vagcom? I found it online; do I have to buy and sun some diagnostic software? I am dumb.
I checked that site at this link: http://www.goapr.com/Audi/support/index.html and clicked on Snub Mount Installation Instructions 02+ A4 (402k PDF)
but i don't see anyhting about the "Bumper" per se. Is there another, hipper word I should be looking for?

if you think on how this works you will see the solution, sit on the seat switch ignition on = warningbuzzer for seat belt then you plug the seat belt in and it goes off, so its a switch in the seat belt location and you might even see the single black wire going into it also the passenger seat, though I would never tell anyone to alter such things as its there for a reason
