I recently got a 97 12v quattro and realized that it is great for reliability(which i really need) but not for speed.
i was wondering if there was any way to turn the 12v into a 30v by possibly switching heads and cams and such?
and excluding the reliability factor are there any superchargers at all for the 12v??

 

only SC setups would be custom and extreme PITA, you could swap on 30v heads but then you would have all kinds of other problems like ECU and what not... you can howerver bore and port/polish most of your intake tract and heads for increased power, Audiworld 12v develpement has a lot of info

 

yes, just pull the 12v and drop in a 30v engine, and you're good to go.

 

sorry mate you cant do that, 1 the pistons are different so you will bend valves/ oilways are different as are the waterways so for get it
