Default Can I use ABS Module from other car (parted out) to replace mine?

I have the ABS light on steady and the Brake light flashing on my car constantly.

I understand that the ABS module is bad from searching.

Can I get an ABS module from a different a4 (perhaps one being parted out) and put it on my car? Or is it somehow
car specific in some way?

Thanks,
Don

Sure. You can also get one from an A6, A8, or S4 as long as its from the same chasis (B5/B6)

Definitely, just make sure the letter at the end of the part number is the same.

The OEM part numbers and ending letter designation effected are: 8E0614111-P, Q, R, S, C, G, M, H, A, N, E, , B, F, AH, AJ, D,& 3B0614111. This number & letter code can be found on the Pump Assembly housing between the brake lines.
