Default Can someone explain this to me??

Alright Guys,

I'm in the market for a full exhaust, and I cant seem to figure out what makes the quattro exhaust different from the front trac exhaust.. Not only that but I cant even find a borla exhaust for the front trac. Any ideas as to why they are so different, and who makes a good exhaust for the front track (downpipe included?).

Thanks
Drew

Its a completely different system, I don’t know the specs but the exhausts are not interchangeable as far as I know

Since a quattro has a rear drive train that needs to be avoided by the exhaust, it's obvious that it cannot be the same as the FWD version.

^^ yeah what he said. Suspension geometry is completly different for awd cars vs. fwd/rwd. As well as alot more parts to avoid from front to rear. DOnt forget the driveshaft, transfercase as well, because those are things that have a common path as the exhaust.
