On a 98 2.8L Quattro. Can you put both the chip and the PES supercharger and still get the benefits of both? I'm going to get a supercharger in a couple months, but I'd like to get the chip in the meantime. Anyone else combined the two? Can you get better performance than with the supercharger alone?

 

The pes supercharger requires it's own software to run properly. You can't just slap any old chip in there and think it will work right. The kit comes with the chip:

 

does the supercharger kit use a bpv? or a bov?

 

BV if any, i have a supercharged car and there is no whoosh sound at all after you let off the gas.

 

how hard is it on the engine?

 

i think after u supercharge it u wont need to chip it. but i think if u do both i dont c why it wouldnt work
