Hey everyone, I'm new to audi and have had my A4 about 2 weeks. I love it. But here is the problem. Every now and then it wil just turn over and not start, then smells really flooded. Its like its not getting any spark. The wierd thing is though is it only does it at select times (usually when im far away from home). We are able to push start it, but it is still a pain. I have been fussing with it today, but i havent been able to get it to not start to see whats wrong. Any ideas?

 

My guess is probablly the starter, just happened to one of my friends cars and the same thing happened.

 

maybe the starter is bad.. or maybe the flywheel has missing teeth.. seen that one before.. that will cause it to be random when it wont start
