Default Car code in manual not correct

I had to replace the battery for the first time in my car, and for some odd reason the code in the symphony manual on the radio card, is not correct, and now my stereo is locked and useless. What can I do? Anyone else ever have this problem?

You’re going to have to take it to a stealership, there the only ones that can get it for you. I called AOA and that’s what they told me, some of the dealers will do it for free some will charge as much as $80. I have to get mine done but there’s really no point until I get my car fixed so I have been putting it off.

if the card has the details of the car it wont cost you anything but if its been changed it will ( you can only try ) you never know they might just reset for free
