does anybody know how much it would cost to turn the 1.8t motor into a 2.0 motor by boreing it out and getting bigger pistons as well?

Oil pan - head - turbo - tuning - FMIC most likely a bit more, yep sounds like it might get spendy - but you'll be a god when your done.
