I am really thinkin about it I just don't know if I have to get all those extra parts or not. oil pan turbo etc... WHy cant I just use the parts I have now until I BT?

Someone with more engine knowledge(cough*cincy*cough) will have to help you out with the fitment stuff - maybe call the company that he says he purchased it from and ask them.

damn man you havnt been on here in a while, that sucks about your car... i thought you went k04?? and you didnt get the k04 software or some ****? maybe im forgetting something... but anyways i feel bad for you, do you have the money to get an insane motor or are you just trying to piece it back together?

wouldn't be worth it for an automatic....the power of that motor w even a ko4 would prolly give you mass tranny probs....I would say just keep your eyes out for a 1.8T w low miles (like 50k or so)....then, after you get your car running again, worry about making it faster...
that really blows man, I'm sorry to hear about ur situation....

oh, and try LKQ if you havent...they have an eBay store and junk yards all over the US (I am posative they will have a few 1.8's to choose from, they might even make you a deal if you're down to go w a 5spd tranny as well....

i forgot you were auto... i would sell it and get a manual, and im not being a smart *** at all.. i have watched your progress with your car for a while now and now that you have an oppportunity to possibly get a manual i would jump all over it. I forget but is there a reason you didnt get a manual? did you just find one at the right price? dont like 5 speed? fill me in...
and another thing, it seems like you have money for mods just chillin all over the place... does your nine to five shift consist of a scale

haha I dont have manual cuz I dont like it. Don't flame me I just don't. So puttin in this motor will kill my tranny? I was gonna upgrade the tranny anyway to the level 10 if it exists.
