Default car in gear,wont move....help

so i was doing the simple task of changing my oil today on my A4 and oh piece of cake right? oh was i in for a long day......i put the new oil in, bring the car down from the lift and im off to work....yea right, the car wont even move.....its an automatic, so i put it in drive and step on the gas and all the car is doing is reving high, not moving....First thought was the transmission, but i looked at the display and no check engine light....Could I have done something wrong while changin the oil or there is no tranny fluid.....I cant even think because I didnt end up goin to work and my poor baby was just sitting there not moving....can anyone help me out please?

What size was the drain plug you removed? Its possible you drained the transmission by accident (its fairly common). The oilpan drain plug should be a 19mm... any wierd noises from the transmission when you started it up?

i pulled the smallest plug there is with the small bolt.......on the left side of the pan(passenger side) and no transmission sounds fine and so does the engine....the car moves barely when you floor it and then stops......

Was the plug on the side of the pan, or facing straight down? If it was straight down, you pulled the transmission plug. Where in Norcal are you? I'm in the SF bay, if you are close and available on the right day, I can refill the transmission for you if you buy a pump and the fluid.
