This morning on my way to work, 2 minutes after I pulled out of my parking space, the car jerked forward noticeably while going from 1st to 2nd ('99 A4 1.8T tiptronic). Is the transmission about to die? I'm thinking it slipped?

 

did u change around the right time?? if your too late your car will jerk.

 

Change what? I recently had a tip chip installed, should I remove it?

 

Anyone else have any ideas/suggestions?
