I'm thinking about selling my 2000 A4 1.8T and picking up something a little newer with less mileage, maybe a 03-04 or something and was curious as to what sort of realistic price I may get for the car both through private sale and maybe trade-in....

The car just had a new RS4 style bumper and side skirts put on and professionally painted, I had the hood and the rear bumper resprayed at the same time to get rid of some general parking scuff caused by jackasses that cant park...

The car is running on Pilot sport tires that have about 3k miles on them and are in perfect condtion

The interior is perfect, clean and free of suff and stains.

The car has just under 99k miles, the vast majority of these are highway miles. It's going into the dealer for the 100k service next week.

What are your thoughts as far as what I could potentially get on a private sale and even though the dealers will rape me what do you think the trade in value is?

 

depending on where you live, id say 9-12k approx. private sale will got you more money than a trade in.

 

well i just got a 2001 a4 1.8t, mint condition inside, no scracthes dings or any visual damage, and i had it completely looked over at the audi dealership and they said it was in great working condition and i got it for 11,700. 52k miles.

(well there is one problem, my front speaker is blown , but it cant be perfect)
