Default car is weiiiird on freeway

ok so far i have only experienced this on the freeway, but lately from time to time while driving on the freeway my cel would flash on and make the car practically do a nose dive. this only lasts like a second and its gone. today however it was doing it quite a few times, but once i got off the freeway it drove fine... this is puzzling to me..is it puzzling to anyone else??

this sounds like a crank sensor issue but without any codes its a guess, there will be stored codes there have it checked also ensure the connections to all sensors are secure and clean

I just had a crank sensor go out, it did several things. Seems to fail when the car gets warmed up, it would stall at lights and then becomes hard to start. It would idle fast (1100-1200 rpms) when it did restsart. Engine would not spin faster than 5000 rpms, My check engine light was not the one that comes on but the EPC light would. The part is relatively cheap around $90.00 & had it installed by a local mechanic. Ive heard that if it goes totally out you wont be able to start your car.

We can make wild guesses at symtoms all day and never find the real cause. Let us know what the code is for and maybe we can help you.
