Car wont start without fuel rail removed
So I've been working on this Audi a4 1.8t for a long time I had a blown head gasket and I got it really dismantled and had to put it back together while I learned how cars work...... and it sat for awhile a couple of times with the battery removed unplugged and or dead I also got a new cam gear with no markings on it and had to learn how to time the engine myself and I pretty sure I've got that down at least close enough........ but now the issue is that the car won't start unless I pull the fuel rail out almost as if the engine requires are from the fuel injector ports in the intake manifold to start At first I was getting an open circuit code on all four injectors four different codes Then I fiddled with it pulled one of the injectors off and I don't know if I got air in the fuel rail or what but all the fuel injectors are dispensing fuel it's just that the car won't start without pulling the fuel rail out almost as if the car requires the air through those holes If the car starts without the fuel rail in it does that mean it's my Turbo that's not switching the intake manifold to boost pressure from vacuum pressure I don't know I'm still learning thank you
currently im getting codes p1138 but its not a for sure code just an intermittent code that goes away on its own sometimes
