Why pay money for CF when it hidden? Doesnt make sense. The 15lb battery has been fine in other VW/Audi's in the winter, just avoid the lighter version if you drive all year.

who cares about 1/4 mile times? Lol, im not about that drag racing.. my front end is to heavy and it sucks on the track, so im tryin to save as much weight as possible up front. thanks tho

about having CF hidden, i dont know, stregnth.. to be hones, i just wanted a light/strong battery enuf for swaping at the track. But i am still debating on which one.

Go to Costco. They now have #48 batteries with a three year full warranty.
After three years it's proratedfor 84 months. They sell for under $70.
They're heavy.

it being carbon fiber has nothing to do with weight savings...lol. Its a look. the plastic that is normally used is just as light as the cf. the 1/4 times talked about is expressing it being faster overall by sheeding weight along with the other benifits listed above.

The odessey listed above is also another great battery and weighs 15lbs

so these batteries work well un the freezing cold i live in colorado and work nights so my car is sitting out all night and don't want any issues when it is snowing and below 0
