Definitely a really clean engine. props for that. I put on this intake probably 6 months ago. it wasn't much fun. Ya know those light grey pbc hose things? they're supposed to screw together. yea well they didn't. atleast not very well. not to happy about that. sound is awesome. even better with an R1 diverter valve. but minimal gains.

Well hopefully the posts in this thread will help anyone in the future to make the decision NOT to buy this intake. Sounds like too many of the few people who actually somehow justified the cost and bought this intake have had issues with it one way or another. Hopefully the info here will be a lesson that for $300-400, this is NOT a mod that is worth buying. I know that everyone says it sounds great - so does my eBay intake, which cost me ~$40 and came with nice shiny parts lol. Screw paying $400 for a basically nonfunctional part that takes a ridiculous amount of time to install and doesn't even fit right in the end. My main reason for buying the intake was to eliminate the need to keep buying air filters, so mine'll pay for itself after several oil change intervals. For the Carbonio to even do that, it's gonna take years...without even having it, I'm confident giving it two thumbs down after reading what I've read on AF about it.

Anyone who has a burning need to drop $400 on this intake, do us both a favor - send me the money instead - I'll use it more wisely.

wow looks like everyone finally got to this post. Ya i dont expect anyone to feel sorry, i just had the extra money to do it so i did it and discovered that sometimes companies who talk up there products also suck *****. Nothing that costs that much should be so shitty. Yes thank you all for my engine bay compliments. wouldnt believe that my car nowhas 130,000 miles on itI will get more pics of my car after i am done with all my winter mods. Should be pretty niiice!
