thats all it ever displays on my 99 a4's concert radio... CD# ERR3... any ideas?

 

wut cd changer is it? stock? try putting in a legal cd as in one u buy from a store

 

all 5 cd's in there are legal cd's... its weird, it will work at first but not after any restarts or if i change cd's or anything...

 

The changer goes bad. Not uncommon. No easy fix that Im aware of.

 

I had that same problem on my 98 A6 I had a CD loose in there, and no CD's would play and wouldnt come out, I had to remove the changer from my car and start unscrewing the cover until I was able to pull out the CD's, it worked fine from there

 

pull out whatever CD # is giving you the error msg. should work from there.

my TT does it every now and then. same head unit and changer.

 

the thing is it will work fine, then switch cd's and give me that error, then no matter what i do to the changer i get that error from every cd until the next morning...
