Will one from a 2001 Audi A6 2.7T mount easily and work in a 1999 Audi A4 2.8L Quattro?

 

your 99 should use a round 13 pin connector. Double check that... and then make sure the one from the A6 is a round, 13 pin connector. If they both are, then you're golden.

 

Do they have converters if you have different sized connectors? Say..a round 13 pin connector to a rectangle sized one?

 

How many pins does the rectangular one have, and what does it look like?

 

I think the rectangular ones are all the same... so two rectangles will work.

And the adapters from round to rectangular do not exist, to my knowledge... there are blitz adapters that will let you use an aftermarket changer, I believe... but you'd be surprised at their cost. Almost as much as the changer itself.
