well, my CEL came on for 2 days and it is gone now. are there any common things that cause this without scanning for codes?

 

there are soooo many possibilitys that we have absolutly no way of telling with out codes

 

Bad MAF, 02 sensor, coil packs, ICM are the most common. Go to autozone and get scanned for free. There will be a code stored from the CEL.

 

It happened to me ones. It came and stay for 2 days and gone. I went to autozone and checked it. It was related with Idle sensor or something.

If the cel off, maybe you cannot see the answer from advance or auto zone. You may need vag-com to see it.
