i posted a couple of days ago 'bout a p1177 and p1176 code, could this code be thrown by not having a small filter on the smog line going into the old air box (the car has a cold air intake on it, but that small line is just there w/ no filter)

i have cleared the codes twice, they take about 45 min of running b4 they pop back up-

 

Yes you need a small filter on that hose too , I'm not sure if it would throw a code but I'm sure its provable.

It will throw a secondairy air flow code.
