Default CEL Disease

it's contagious! now I can't seem to get rid of a code!

i'm getting SAE code P0411 which according to Bentley means "Secondary Air System Throughput faulty". the first time i got this code was after pulling the radiator support panel into service position to install my snubmount. i didn't even pull it all apart, just moved it enough to stuff in the snub mount, but i did later find a hose disconnected leading into the air box (the small round corrogated plastic one) which i reconnected, erased the code and it was fine. i'm pretty sure i pulled this off when i removed the fresh air scoop/hose. then the CEL came back and nothing was disconnected, so i erased again and it was fine, then, OF COURSE, a couple days later it came back ... so it appears it's only getting triggered by the drive cycle tests and probably had nothing to do with the originally suspect hose.

i've checked everything and nothing appears to be leaking or d/c ... EXCEPT my exhaust which is my suspect. it's leaking badly at the bellows connection on the downpipe. if f'n Borla would get their stuff together i'd probably solve the problem.

does that make sense? is it my leaky exhaust that's triggering this code? or worse, is it my catalytic converter which is what Bentley says to replace if nothing else clears the code?

anyone go down this road before?!

thanks!
