CEL & Diverter update!

look at the maf and see if the air flow direction arrow is pointing the right way.

ok... haven't had the chance to go back and look if its facing the right way with air flow direction...but pretty sure it is. Also when i get the codes what should I say... I need the 'codes to be read off my engine to find out whats wrong?' Or am I giong to sound like an idiot asking that?

If you drive down in to Avon there's a place called The Synthetic Shop that I get my A4 B5 repaired at. The mechanic Dave is really chill, and he'll scan your codes for you. If he doesn't do it for free it's because he's busy and it'll be like ten bucks....

He'll give you a lot of advice too if you just ask questions. I live in Edwards BTW.

^I got my parts down in devner this last weekend at an auto zone. like 33 bucks for both filters.

could you give me directions to this place please? If no one here can do it I'm making a trip down there this weekend

ok found a place up here... they hooked it up, said it ran lean for a split second and now is ok...cel is GONE!

ummm... ok so almost same thing happened as when it first came on. After I left and the cel was gone, then about 30 min later it came on again... Thoughts?

any thoughts on this? HELP please. The guy didn't give me the actual codes he just said that it was running lean for a split second...but the light is back on. I went back last night and checked if everything was tightly sealed...as far as I could tell it was
