i see u have a b5 and im not sure much of a difference that makes but i had that CNC machined block wayne on the vortex makes for all the VWs doing the same thing as us and i would get a CEL for a week then it woudl go away for a thousand miles then back again.. hope it works for u though,,, sounds like it ought to be far enough out of the exhaust stream !

I work 5 days a week (5 miles each way), and go to school 4 days a week (20miles each way) and I drive to brooklyn from south jersey just about every weekend.. I'm pretty sure i'm up close to 1,000miles with this thing and it looks good.. I really hope this stays off!

and no that ebay thing is not what i did.. i just have 3 stacked up it would prob be cheaper since its no shipping and a pack in like $3.. just use 2 long ones and don't drill it all the way out

chip is a pc-16... I thinkin more like 230 bhp? I wont know till i finally do a dyno.. I somehow wanna be a K04 over 300 bhp even if it takes Nitrous.

 

still off for those who are wondering... I even took it out and put the old style in, the cel came back on.. I changed it out again and it went off. THIS IS THE WAY TO GO!!
