yeah dude, you should have no prob, my friend down south did it by himself....you will pull the old hood and transfer hadware...to get it looking good it will prolly take an hour and a half or so....if you have a friend holding each side of the hood you'll be set!

you'll have an even easier time if you dont re-install the washer nozzels, like the pic above...

where are you located, I know where you can get one dirt cheap in LA ($400 if you pick up (brand new (vis)))

gl!

yeah, theres three bolts, you just re-attach the hoodlatch to the new hood using the same hardware...to make sure you have it lined up on the new on you shoud also have the grill in place on the new hood....

are you having trouble opening and closing your hood now?...you may have latch damage...if not you are set!

I'll try to get a couple pics up in a lil while...

It takes pretty much no time at all to remove the hood, epacially if you have helpers...

alright, I would say you should prolly start with the hood latch itself, it will take a couple seconds...all you have to do is remove three bolts

secondly I would have to say you will want to disconnect the hood shock, it is real quick, I would say between a flathead screw driver and a pair of needle nose pliers it should be pretty simple....when removing shock, remember that it is the only support you hood has, so, have one of your helpers hold the hood open for you....the C clip looks like this

thirdly are the two hinge bolts on either side at the "base" of the hood (when open(popped)), they look like this

have one of your friends on either side, maybe put a beach towel under the base of the hood (just in case)...remove one bolt and loosen the other onboth sides, so that there is one finger tight bolt on either side of the hood holding it there, then carefully unsrew the last to while your helpers lift and carry the hood away from the vehicle....

I am a little hazy on how ready the cf hoods come, I seem to remember seeing marking on my friends indicating where to drill, but I could be wrong, either way, use a tape measurer and make sure that the holes on both hoods are placed identically on both hoods....

now, put the grill on the new cf hood, attach hoodlatch, scew in the 4 hood lach bolts (not too tightthough, because you may need to adjust a bit), then close the hood, you will have a little bit of play with the loose latch bolts to adjust and perfect, when you get it to a point where you are happy with it, torque em down tight, then re-attach your hood shock....

It may only take you 45 min, and it could take you 3hours...you should take you time, since this is your first time and you really can't afford to make any mistakes. well, hopefully some of that helps....gl!

post sum pic of da install and the final product...maybe some before shots of your tire damage

edit-you can just pull the washer fluid hoses and either re-install (which would mean cutting new hole in the hood)or plug them w a screw or sumpin

I'm diggin' the black roof look with the CF hood - very nice touch. I think I'd probably do that on my silver car if I got the hood.

best way to get it for under 700 is to not have shipping, try finding a place locally that has it.
