Default Changing Rotors. DIY Help?

Changing my front rotors on my 97 A4 1.8tQ. They are a little warped. (like me)

Does anyone have scanned or step by step instructions that i can go from? I like pictures but i can work from step by step instructions. Thanks in advance for any help y'all can give.

its really easy, kindof. all you do is remove the wheels and calipers and they theoretically should fall right off, but usually they are rusted on and it takes some force to remove them.

Sweet. My brother is going to help me out. Had my timing belt changed today so i am trying to save a little scratch by doing this part myself.

Should have done it the other way around if you wanted to save about $800 worth of "scratch"

if you have any mechanical experience, it should be very easy. NOTE: on the rear you have to have a brake tool to twist the piston back into the caliper( just for future reference)

True, but i have no illusions about my abilities and i have already used my brother for so many serious car projects that i feel like a total *** even asking for help with the rotors. I have no doubt he would have helped me and i won't be telling him i had it done because he will punch me, so nobody tell him.

I have little to no mechanical expertise. The first things I have done to my car was replace the DV, snub mount and change the rotors and pads myself. To change the fronts its pretty easy I have to say, easier than getting at and installing the snub mount.

The audiworld writeup is pretty good:

There was another link that was good. Try doing a search on this forum for my name as the author. I started a thread about changing the rotors.
