hello, i'm the new guy in town; i enjoyed a few topics so i had to register. i own a 2001 A4 2.8 quattro (no mods).i can't seem to clear my check engine light even after i fixed the problem. the machanic cleared it twice but it came back on indicating the same code. this happened about 8 months ago and i've been driving around with the check enginelight on. any help?

 

If it keeps coming back then it is not fixed. Whats the code?

they replaced theexhaust system including a newcatalytic converter.

 

How can one clear the check engine light on a A4 quatro 1996??
