Thanks for the prompt reply. Besides the code reader would disconnecting the battery or the computer clear the CEL temporarily??

 

What would that do other than prompt you not to see it while driving, which you shouldn't be looking at it in the first place. Simple answer, buy a code reader or go to Advance Auto Parts and get them to read it to you so that instead of you trying to get the light to go away, you get the light and the problem to go away
