Mine has come on twice.

When I bought the car it was on, because of multiple misfires (had a bad ICM).
So, replaced it and cleared codes.

Came on the second time when my t-belt broke, gave me a cam position sensor code.

Thats it, its never been on besides those two times.

My light has not come on ever in 2007.

i had one, but that was because a bad connection on a o2 sensor. Thats with a 100% vta bov also.

Once when I disconnected my ECU and once when I disconnected my MAF - so it came on once luckily I haven't had any actual(something broke) CEL's yet

I had two. problem only appears in cold weather, both of them caused by 440cc green tops(thanks to cincyTT)

errors wererandom/multiple missfiring.

Haha... Good thread... Mines been 5+ due to the test pipe and a misifre caused by bad plug. Get a CEL about every 300-500 miles. Simple to clear though, no big deal. 00/1.8t

swap them bitches out!! And your simptoms were a dead greentop give away.
