now i did do a search on this, but did not find an a 100% answer

i removed my aftermarket radio today, and purchesed a new one. now before i was able to reinstall the new one i had to run an erand somewhere, so why i was driving about 2 mins later the check oil sensor light came on(at the moment NO radio is in) so i stop check the oil levels and they are fine. so i wrap up my erands and return to reinstall the new radio. i get the radio reinstalled start the car about up and the light is now gone. is there a chance that not having the radio conected would cause this? i do belive some of the wires run to the dash due to when the factor radio was in, it would display cd track etc etc

 

bump in hope of some help, would like to possibly get some before i take it to the stealership in the morn

 

Thats not gonna have anything to do with your radio, the wire runs through the engine wiring harness directly to the cluster.

 

yea thats what i thought, just not sure why it came up when the radio was removed and went off when the radio went back in, guess just an odd occurance

 

Yeah i wanna know why ignition coils and window regulators go out when they are in the shop too,
even if im working nowhere near those parts?

so its worth bringing in you think then to have them just check the sensor?
