Default chip

I was searching the internet about chips for my car I want to go with the APR or Giac. They are both ~1.0 bar configuration. I was also looking at the neuspeed they make a 0.8 bar a a 1.0 bar chip. The 1.0 bar chip is like half the price of APR or GIAC anybody have anyexpierence with this or have any input. How is the performanse of this chip as compared to the others I know it's a little less but any ideas?

Alright I have an appointment on Friday at 2 to get the APR chip installed. It's 399 + 80 for installation. I can't wait.

I hear GIAC is slightly more broader powercurve, while the APR is more agressive. I'm going with APR ASAP.

GIAC is more agressive, APR is a smoother power curve.

my warrenty and free scheduled maint. runs out June 2nd
I plan on going to AWE to get A GIAC chip & a forged DV put in by the end of the month...

after doing some reaserch i decided to go with the GIAC from AWE....
AWE's headquarters is in suburban Philly and i live about 2 miles from it...
if your gonna have someone else touch your car, it couldn't be more convienent than having the HQ of arguably the best Audi tuners in North America just a short drive away...

good point JDCrowe The APR install facility is only 20 minutes from my house right over the border in New York. It's nice being I can go there and have i done instead of mailing my ecu out which I'm kind of leery about doing.

i would recommend going to the place nearest to you, or only as far as your willing to drive in the event something acts up and you need to take it back to them...
