driving home today from deep creek maryland to my home in pittsburgh PA, i was seeing exactly how fast the car would go ('03 1.8t) and i found it got to exactly 134, then the rev limiter (it was redlined), wouldn't let it go any faster. would a chip let it go even faster, or would the top speed not be affected, regardless i am gonna get one, just wondering...

 

i chip would remove the rev limitor
i thought the stock was limited to only 125-130

chip erases the factory seeting so no more rev limiter....i got mine to 143 but was going to run out of room..it only used to go to 125mph
