wow, i'm reading a lot of dumb ****. these forums can sometimes be misleading. I have an 02 3.0 6speed as well. You can chip it but it's not worth it....$500-$600 for 5-8 hp.

just to clear things up a little you can chip a 3.0, giac does it but it is only 12 hp, intake is a waste of money, you can supercharge it if you have deep pockets. look in the a4 section at the top and there is a write up to what you can and can't do.

As a result, I am keeping the Audi and am gonna invest some money into it and would like to get the performance as close to the 300 hp M3.

Thanks,
Brent

Pleaze supercharge it, then you will be close. Also exhaust, and intake (not till after you supercharge it though!)

looks like supercharging may be the only option to really procude a good amount of added horsepower...might be in the near furture.

Thank guys!

Brent
